Project funded by DeITY and implemented at CSIR-IMMT
City Air Pollution Monitoring and Prediction System (CAMPS) is an initiative by CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar towards monitoring the city air pollution at a granular level. This would help the local management to improve the safety of human being. The profile of air pollutant over the city has been calculated based on developed spatial models from the measured location based pollution level. The pollution level has been measured through a moving node equipped with gas sensors and wireless communication device for real time data communication to the centralized server located at CSIR-IMMT. This would show case how clean or polluted outdoor air and its associated health effects. This website provides a bird's eye view of the pollutant spatial distribution for the awareness of common public. The dataset, thus calculated are of approximation based on the developed GIS model. Currently these models are in the validation / testing phase and the data set is a research outcome and does not bear any authenticity.
