Eighteen appropriate technologies of IMMT, Bhubaneswar has been compiled for small and micro sector to support self-employment. Profiles of these are broadly classified rural energy, safe drinking water, cooking and heating in pollution free environment, processing and harvesting of cereal and pulses, drying of various materials and food grains, non-ferrous casting, terracotta and pottery, heat treatment of various materials and heat painting etc.

This would result a sustainable rural development in the country.
