  1. Application :
    The machine is used for efficient threshing and winnowing of matured crop of different pulses, irrespective of shape & size of plants & grains, such as green gram, black gram, arhar, horse gram, lentil etc with minimum power consumption and labour input. The crop residue is also crushed to small sizes during threshing for animal feed. 50% harvesting cost is reduced and 10% yield is increased over the traditional threshing methods since grain loss in crop residue is reduced to nil & rate of harvesting is 2 to 3 times faster. Threshing and winnowing capacity is 600 kg/hr dry crops. The machine operates by 2 or 3 hp electric motor or oil engine. Semi-automatic and fully automatic Pulse threshers are available.

    Mild Steel Sheet, angle, 2 HP electric motor, V-belt etc.
  3. Process Features:
    It is a vertical flow thresher and dry crop moves vertically inside the machine. Opening of pods and crushing of crop residues are carried out by a shear mechanism of the fixed and moving beaters of the machine. The grains are separated from the crop residue by the winnower.

    Commercialised in Orissa, India.
