The Theme of ISMO-09 is "Ore Deposits related to Cr, PGE, Ni-Cu-Sulphide Systems", which will focus on advancements made in the collection of new data and development of new ideas resulting from recent research in the field of Cr-Ni-Cu-PGE ore systems in mafic-ultramafic rocks, including new studies of PGE systems in India and around the world, which will provide a basis for discussion of key scientific themes relevant to the geology and genesis of magmatic Ni-Cu-(PGE), PGE, Cr, and Fe-Ti-V mineralization associated with ultramafic-mafic magmatism.
