Metals Minerals Manufacturing Expo 2009 was held during November 14-17, 2009 at the Science City Complex, Kolkata organized by TAFCON, New Delhi. A team of scientists representing Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology (IMMT) under the banner of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) participated in the EXPO. Exhibits and posters were displayed in the IMMT stall to let the visitors know about the R&D activities going on in IMMT. Many professionals, industrialists and entrepreneurs interacted with the team of scientists from IMMT and showed interest in various projects.

IMMT bagged a special commendation award on this occasion.
