ICPP is the culmination of more than 20 years of research in the area of plasma processing of materials. The current capabilities of the Centre include thermal and low pressure plasma processing catering to variety of industrial materials (SiC, WC, TiC, ZrO2, Al2O3, SiO2, Si3N4, SiAlON, C3N4, BN, AlN, CNT, minerals such as ilmenite, zircon, iron ore, blue dust, red mud, diamond & DLC films, wear resistant nitride coatings).
