DESCRIPTION :
Dr. A.K. Chaubey is presently a Principal Scientist at CSIR-Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology (IMMT), Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. He got his B.Tech degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur, M-Tech and PhD degree in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT (BHU), Varanasi. He joined Prof. J. Eckert’s group at IFW Dresden under DAAD Fellowship programme for part of his doctoral thesis (2010-12) work where he had gained experience in the area of mechanical alloying, nanostructure materials, powder metallurgy in particular. He has more than 15 years of research experience and published more than 40 papers in SCI journals. He is member to various professional societies and actively engaged as reviewer for many journals MSEA, JMR, WEAR, Met. Trans. to name a few.
