    DESCRIPTION :

    Dr. Mayadhar Debata is a Principal Scientist at CSIR-Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology, Bhubaneswar. He obtained his Ph.D. in Materials & Metallurgical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur in 2005. Prior to joining CSIR-IMMT, he has worked as Assistant Professor at Department of Material Science & Metallurgical Engineering, Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal and Senior Scientist at Non-Ferrous Materials Technology Development Centre (NFTDC), Hyderabad. During his tenure at CSIR-IMMT, he has successfully executed several projects of National importance. Recently, he has successfully completed a FTT project on "Novel Tungsten Alloy Cubes" under AEISS Theme of CSIR. He is currently working on some of the externally funded projects towards developing Tungsten based cubes, AlSi10Mg components by both P/M & AM routes and Iron aluminide intermetallic powders (DRDL; NALCO; DST). He is a life member of the Indian Institute of Metals (IIM) and Powder Metallurgy Association of India (PMAI).
