Santanu Pahari, completed his diploma in Metallurgical Engineering from ICV
Govt. Polytechnic, Jhargram, West Bengal. Presently, Technical Assistant
in Pyrometallurgy & Materials Engineering Department at CSIR-IMMT. Earlier, He worked as
a Project Assistant in Materials Science & Technology Department at CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.
EXPERIENCE :Since 25.02.2022 to till now: Technical Assistant in Pyrometallurgy & Materials Engineering Department at
CSIR-IMMT.
Role: Materials Characterization, Operation & maintenance of Metallurgical Microscope(LEICA DM2700M), FE-SEM(JEOL JSM IT 800 SHL) with
EDS ,EBSD(EDAX) & TKD techniques, Fractography & Metallography.
Since 22.08.2016 to 23.02.2022: Project Assistant
in Materials
Science & Technology Department at CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory.
Role: Operation & Maintenance of Scanning Electron
Microscopes.
Experience: Expertise in operation and maintenance of FE-SEM (HITACHI SU7000, FEI NNS 430) and SEM (HITACHI S-3400N, ZEISS EVO 18) with micro elemental analysis
through EDS (Bruker, Oxford &
EDAX) Detector, EBSD through (EDAX
Velocity), In-situ micro-tensile deformation test, Fractography & Metallography.
