  • Dr. Kamali Kesavan, Scientist-D 9443619671,   kamalikesavan@immt.res.in ,

DESCRIPTION :Dr. Kamali Kesavan is a Gold Medalist in Chemical Sciences from Pondicherry University in 2010. She pursued her Doctoral research in Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Kalpakkam in 2016. Her research work was on ‘High Pressure Raman Spectroscopic Studies on anomalous thermal expansion materials’. Following her Ph. D, she has worked as Research Associate in IGCAR on high pressure studies on radioactive nanomaterial for five months. Then she joined as National Post Doctoral Fellow in Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) with Prof. Chandrabhas Narayana in 2016. During this period she had worked on pressure and temperature dependent studies on Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs). Later she continued the research as Research Associate in the same group from 2018-2019. Apart from gaining expertise in various sample synthesis and characterization techniques, she has utilized advanced high pressure synchrotron X-Ray Diffraction facilities at Express beamline in Elettra synchrotron Light Source, Italy. In September 2019, she joined as a Scientist in CSIR-Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology, Bhubaneswar.EXPERIENCE :
