DESCRIPTION :
Dr. Nilima Dash, a scientist, obtained her M.Sc. and M.Phil (Geology) in 2005 and 2006, respectively, from Utkal University. She pursued her Doctorate at CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar, in 2008 and was awarded a Ph.D. in 2012 from Utkal University. After completing her Ph.D, she joined CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar as a DST-Women Scientist in 2013 and in November 2015 joined the same Institute as Scientist “C”. She has 10 years of R&D experience in the field of Mineral characterization and Processing. She published 15 papers in international journals and 30 in national and conference proceedings. She has a role in characterizing different ores like Iron, Manganese, Bauxite, and coal. She has been awarded the IIME PERAVADHANULU AWARD for the best paper presented in the Seminar on Mineral Processing Technology-2009 and 2017. She also received the Best Poster Award at the 99th ISCA-2012 held at KIIT University, Bhubaneswar. She has been involved in various projects (Govt. and Sponsored) as a project leader and also a team member since 2016.
