    EXPERIENCE :

At present I am working in Environmental &Sustainability Department under water, air and soil sediment theme. I have involved in Environment Impact Assessment Projects of Paradip Port Trust. I am also looking after Environmental Chemical Lab which is NABL accredited.   My research areas are mainly but not limited to Study on water, atmospheric air and soil quality, Environment Impact Assessment, Development of Catalyst, Study on Crude oil and Petroleum products and Upgrading of bio oi to conventional fuel etc.   There are four student pursuing their Ph.D. under me. Presently I am leading the following projects.

ü  Development of resin for removal of arsenic, fluoride and iron from ground water

ü  Study on different resin/media evaluation (import as well as export) for removal of iron/fluoride and arsenic removal efficiency.

ü  Study on Carbon Dynamics in Estuaries and Near-Shore Waters of Mahanadi and Dhamra for ISRO

ü  Lab scale study for technology validation of resin/media for removal of contaminates from ground water.

Previously I had worked at Advanced Crude Oil Research Centre of CSIR-Indian Institute Petroleum, Dehradun as Head of Area. I was leading the project for development of T-6 fuel for Bramhos Missile sponsored by Defence.
