DESCRIPTION :
Dr. Boopathy Ramasamy working as a Scientist-E in CSIR-Institute of Minerals and materials technology (CSIR-IMMT), Bhubaneswar. He joined CSIR-IMMT as a Scientist-C 2015. Dr. Boopathy did his Ph.D dissertation work in CSIR-CLRI, Chennai, Tamil Nadu on recovery of valuables form reverse osmosis reject stream generated in leather industry. His research expertise Recovery of valuables from waste and reuse; treatment of wastewater by advanced oxidation processes; synthesis of composites for environmental remediation; ambient aerosol and trace gases measurement and its chemical analysis for source apportionment studies. He has published more than 72 research articles in internationally peer reviewed journals and 6 book chapters, to his credit he is one among the inventors for 4 filled patents (2 grated). He is a recipient of IEI young Engineers award, 2019 from Institution of Engineers India; ECR award, 2016 from SERB, DST and few others.
