    DESCRIPTION :

Miniaturisation of process industries is quite possible with novel process integrations. We aim for such integration with confidence developed in multi-helical designs and parallel flows. The 3D helical designs actually enhances the stability of interface in parallel flows. We would like to concrete this concept with demonstration in process integrations like liquid-liquid-liquid extraction and stripping.

We aim to support farmers with interdisciplinary S&T interventions of microfluidcis, membrane intacts, plant pathology, image processing and web data bases for development of complete crop health monitoring system.

    EXPERIENCE :

    Working in

Template assisted fabrication of multi-helical channels, parallel flow of immiscible liquids from last 12 years

Process integration of liquid-liquid extraction and phase seperation from last 6 years

Micro arrays and net work of micro arrays with sample splitting mechanism for multiplex analysis from last 3 years

    AREA OF INTEREST :

    • Multi-helical flow designs, stability of interface in parallel flows, Liquid-Liquid solvent extraction and stripping.
    • Rapid and Point care Micro-fluidic and Membrane kits for diagnosis of plant pathogens.
    PATENTS :
    • Multi-Helical Reactor for Liquid-Liquid Extraction/Stripping and Phase Separation and Methods Thereof (Filed at Patent Office, New Delhi Govt. of India)
