DESCRIPTION :
Er. Kabir Prasad Biswal is currently working in Hydro & Electrometallugy Dept, CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar.He has around 9 years experience in R&D related activities such as gaseous reduction of different oxide samples in fluid bed reactor , hydrogen tube furnace. Smelting & Melting of reduced ores in induction furnace.He has also experience in handling analytical instrument such as ICP-OES, UV & AAS .
EXPERIENCE :- Diploma apprentice trainee (2003-2004) in Energy Technology Department at CSIR-IMMT(RRL), Bhubaneswar.
- From 2005 to 2008 worked as Project Assistant in MPD at CSIR-IMMT. Job- Characterization of coal & Coke of CMPDI samples.
- From 2008 to June' 2009 worked as Chemist at TCRC, Bhubaneswar. Job- Characterization of different ores & minerals.
- From July'2009 to till now working as Technical Assistant at H&EM department in CSIR-IMMT , Bhubaneswar .
AREA OF INTEREST :PROJECTS WORKED ON :- Recovery of alumina in Nalco fly ash through pyrometallugical & bioprocessing method (SSP-261) completed .
- Metal recovery from PMN 12th plan technology develoment in extraction metallurgy (GAP-001) completed.
- Feasibility studies to recovery manganese metal from low grade manganese ore(SSP-304) completed .
- Metallugical test work on recovery of cupper from leach residue (SSP-255) completed.
- Prepartion & chracterization of EMD suitable for batteries from slurry containing Mn & Co (SSP-225) completed.
- Processing flow sheet testing of low grade manganese ore (SSP-305) completed.
