    DESCRIPTION :

    Mr. Krushna Chandra Nayak received his B.Tech degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla, Odisha. He currently works in the Hydro, Bio, and Electrometallurgy Department, CSIR-Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology (CSIR-IMMT), Bhubaneswar, India. Additionally, he has contributed to the virtual electronics group.

    Before joining CSIR-IMMT, he worked at IIT Bhubaneswar in the School of Electrical Sciences. Following that, he spent three years at CSIR-CECRI, Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu, within the CIF Division before transferring to CSIR-IMMT.

    With approximately five years of experience in research and development, he is skilled in operating and analysing samples using SEM, FESEM, and EDAX, as well as in maintaining various equipment. He also has experience in troubleshooting both process and analytical equipment. Throughout his career, he has worked on several projects focusing on the extraction of critical minerals and rare earth metals, the setup and operation of electrowinning cells, molten salt electrolysis, and the management of a pilot plant.
