    DESCRIPTION :

    I am a Materials Chemist and have the experience to work with applied physicists, electrical engineers, chemists, and materials scientists. I would like to work in an interdisciplinary work environment where everyone's expertise from different fields hybridizes to do some innovation having a high societal impact. So highly motivated and enthusiastic students (Chemists/chemical engineers/electrical engineers/physicists) interested to pursue a Ph.D. in such an interdisciplinary work environment are encouraged to send an email to me for future communications. I received my M.Sc. (Chemistry) in 2011 from Vidyasagar University, Midnapur, West Bengal, and Ph.D. in 2016 in Chemistry from the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Jadavpur, Kolkata, India. I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Nanoscale Solar Cells and Center for Nanophotonics, AMOLF (Atomic and Molecular Physics) Physics of Functional Complex Matter, Amsterdam, The Netherlands from Nov 2016 until Oct 2019. After that, I joined as a Scientist at the Materials Chemistry Department at CSIR - Institute of Minerals & Materials Technology on Dec 24th, 2019.

    EXPERIENCE :

    Postdoc (Nov 2016-Oct, 2019) at Nanoscale Solar Cells and Center for Nanophotonics, AMOLF-Physics of Functional Complex Matters, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

    AREA OF INTEREST :

    Development of NEW earth-abundant Perovskite materials (Synthesis of nanomaterials using a wide variety of technics; wet chemical synthesis. hot injection synthesis, chemical vapor deposition, antisolvent assisted crystallisations, etc.) for Photonic, Magnetic and Optoelectronic Application., Self-assembly/Capillary assembly and Nano-patterning via e-beam lithography using colloidal quantum dots, Semiconductor Photovoltaics, Magnetic materials, Surface and interface chemistry.

    •   Postdoc Fellowship position for three years (2016-1019) from Netherlands Government under NWO-VIDI grant (Prof. Erik Garnett)

    • Qualified NET (National Eligibility Test, India) in chemistry June 2011 with CSIR fellowship. All India Rank 46.
