    DESCRIPTION :

Dr. Eswaraiah has obtained his B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from S.V. University, Andhra Pradesh in the year 1996. He has completed his Master of Technology in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in the year 1999. After his Master degree joined in the Department of Chemical Engineering under the guidance of Late Prof. S.S. Narayanan and Prof. Sreenivas Jayanti at Indian Institute of Technology Madras (India) for his doctoral thesis work. Prior to joining to the CSIR-IMMT as a Scientist, he worked as a Project Officer at IIT Madras in a BHEL sponsored project. He also worked as CSIR-Quick Hire Fellow during the year 2006-2007 at CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar. Dr. Eswaraiah is a Senior Scientist in Mineral Processing Department at CSIR-IMMT Bhubaneswar, India having more than 12 years of R&D and teaching experience in the area of minerals research. During his R&D tenure, he has involved as project leader/team member in several grant-in-aid and sponsored/consultancy projects. His area of specialization is Comminution and Classification, Modelling and Simulation in the area of Mineral Processing. He is a member in several professional societies. Presently, he is working on process development for the beneficiation of low-grade ores during mining/mineral processing activities. These studies are oriented towards the ultrafine comminution followed by HPGR, Stirred Mills. Subsequent separation process using advanced gravity separators, magnetic separators, and flotation techniques. He is also involved in teaching of unit operations to M.Tech and Post-Graduation Diploma in Mineral Engineering (PGDME) students of AcSIR and supervising their project works. Currently, he is involved in several R&D projects of the institution and is also involved in several sponsored and Consultancy projects. He has published more than 25 peer-reviewed articles in National and International journals and about 15 National and International conferences to his credit.
