    DESCRIPTION :

    Mr. Prasanta Kumar Baskey is a Scientist in Mineral Processing Division at CSIR- Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology, Bhubaneswar. He obtained his B.Tech in Mineral engineering and M. Tech in Mineral Resource Management (5 year Dual Degree) from IIT (ISM), Dhanbad in 2013. Prior to joining the CSIR-MMT, he worked as a Trainee Scientist in CSIR- National Metallurgical Laboratory, Jamshedpur, where his research work was focused on the development of Nano bubble generator for modified column flotation cell to treat ultrafine coal particles. Presently in CSIR-IMMT, he is involved in several R&D projects related to beneficiation of low grade ore (Iron Ore, Chromite Ore, Graphite Ore, Manganese Ore etc.), slimes, tailings and waste generated during mining/mineral processing activities.
